Qualification & Experiences

 A bachelor’s or master’s degree in any field, preferably in business, education, design, or
policy
 3+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably in new-initiatives teams, start-ups,
think tanks, design firms, or building new functions within organisations
 Ability to execute in an entrepreneurial environment and an appetite for innovation and
reinvention, and a deep understanding of and experience in design-thinking, iterative
prototyping, and agility to course correct quickly
 Strong project management and organizational skills as well as time management skills and
flexibility to accommodate multiple projects simultaneously
 Ability to design learning experiences for diverse participants and adult learners
 Ability to facilitate effective experiences for adult learners
 Ability to effectively interface with multiple audiences, internal teams and stakeholders while
presenting complex ideas clearly and in an engaging manner, including the ability to deeply
listen, speak & write compellingly, build relationships and invest people from diverse
backgrounds in our work
 Operational excellence to set up and manage tight systems and processes for complex
projects including goal-setting, planning, executing, monitoring and data-based decision-
making

Responsibilities

The Circle Labs Manager will –
 Conduct primary and secondary research around our current landscape and audience
demand; identify potential opportunities and partnerships
 Ideate and design upcoming pilots, prioritizing overarching organizational goals and
research-based objectives
 Create project plans and coordinate with stakeholders for phase-wise execution
 Communicate with and update the larger team on progress to goals for each project
regularly
 Coordinate with the communications team to ensure timely outreach and promotion of
project outcomes
 Create monitoring and evaluation systems, and ensure optimum functioning of these
systems to make data-backed decisions to scale or pivot when necessary
 Manage external stakeholder communications including online and in-person meetings, 1:1
coaching conversations, facilitator cultivation & management, and coordinating with partner
organizations

Summary

Circle Labs, one of our flagship programs, consists of light-touch programs and pilots to cultivate
readiness, excitement, and awareness around school design, innovation, and creation. Such
programs include innovation funding for teachers, workshops, three-month programs for educators,
and pilots to reinvent.
The Circle Labs Manager will spearhead the execution of our efforts to
● Mobilize a movement of individuals, organizations, and communities to talk about,
deconstruct, and do something about the state of our schools in India
● Test pilots that create accessibility to resources for a larger body of changemakers to bring
equity and reinvention in schools
To achieve success, the Labs manager will work closely with the Head of Recruitment, Labs and
Outreach to develop and execute an experimental, ambitious, vision-aligned Labs strategy. This role is preferably based out of Mumbai or Delhi, but candidates will be considered on case-by-case basis.
