Qualification & Experiences
A degree in Communications, Journalism or any creative industry
2+ years of relevant work experience
Strong written and verbal skills, including experience with presentations and story-telling
Ability to effectively interface with multiple audiences, internal teams and stakeholders while
presenting complex ideas clearly and in an engaging manner
Ability to execute in an entrepreneurial environment
Strong project management and organizational skills
Creative aptitude and familiarity with interactive design, website management/maintenance
and social media marketing platform
Proven track record in developing and leading comprehensive communications, media
relations, marketing and online strategies, including experience managing social media
An appetite for innovation and reinvention
As The Circle’s Communications Manager, you will -
Coordinate our brand identity, brand strategy, external communications, and core messages
of The Circle. This includes our social media footprint, website, newsletters, and all PR and
thought-leadership efforts to amplify our vision.
Support the creation of messaging and branding to attract stakeholders and partners. This
will involve a mix of print and digital campaigns, as well as PR and thought leadership to
advocate for ‘Reinventing India, School by School’
Work with design organizations to coordinate the ideation and implementation of campaigns
Ensure messaging consistency across all Circle programs and stakeholder interactions
Facilitate the development of both online and offline recruitment campaigns that are
supported by stories of impact
Identify and work with influencers and a large community of ambassadors to amplify our
Play a pivotal role in identifying and forging partnerships that further our movement internally
Serve as the primary liaison with reporters, manage incoming media inquiries, pitch stories
and write and review communication materials
Host flagship events to amplify The Circle’s brand.
Outreach, Recruitment, & Labs
The Communications Manager will spearhead the execution of our efforts to build a world-class brand, as well as support recruitment and matriculation of the best founders of school spaces we can find.
To achieve success, the Communications manager will work closely with the Head of Recruitment, Labs and Outreach to develop and execute an Outreach and Communications strategy. This role is preferably based out of Mumbai or Delhi, but candidates will be considered on case-by-case basis.
