Tarini Khurana

Tarini is a dedicated educator with a deep belief in empowering communities across India. As a Teach For India Fellow, she taught in a government school in Delhi, and later co-founded Kaksha Learning to cultivate children’s love for reading. Passionate about creating inclusive and holistic learning environments, Tarini now aims to drive positive change at Vidya Vriksh Gurukul, where every child can discover, learn and thrive.

Vidya Vriksh Gurukul (VVG) is a pre-school coupled with an after-school program in Kishan Nagar, UP. They aim to help children in rural UP reach their full potential through a unique blend of traditional and modern teaching methods, including play-based learning. They focus on holistic growth that includes socio-emotional skills, language, and basic mathematics. By training local teachers and empowering local community members, VVG creates supportive environments where children can thrive.
