Varun Khimani

After completing his M.A. in Education from Azim Premji University in 2016, Varun has been a classroom teacher while simultaneously leading multiple school-wide projects. Currently, he is engaged in the process of reimagining an educational institution that serves students from lower castes in a remote area of the Rajkot district in Gujarat. Varun's interests lie in exploring the intersection of democracy and education.

Through Gopaldham Learning Center, his vision is to offer high-quality education to rural youth, empowering them to lead fulfilling and sustainable lives. They are running a school, the government residential Ashram Shala, which serves grades 1 to 8. Their core philosophy is rooted in the 3H’s: Head, Hands, and Heart.
