Manyata Malhotra

Manyata has 10 years of grass-root experience across teaching, content, program design / execution, as well as innovating in using virtual reality for social impact. For the last 3 years, she worked on building her organisation, Pitaara Unleashed - an online learning community of self-designed learners aged 7-11 years - with the goal of bringing choice, agency and fun back into learning.

She began her career as a 2013 Teach for India fellow, and then went onto work with several organisations such as Centre for Civil society and Meraki Foundation; engaging with various stakeholders and building a deep understanding of the education landscape in India. Her vision as a change-maker is to redefine education and learning experiences and make quality education accessible to all children across India.
