Qualification & Experiences

-2-3+ years of relevant experience with fundraising, consulting, data analytics or related fields with external client interaction.

-Excellent project management skills, and data analysis skills.

-Strong written and verbal communication skills.

-Other capabilities required in this role: Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders, deep attention to detail and orientation towards ownership and initiative, and a continuous learning mindset.

Responsibilities

As a Manager, Fundraising Engagement and Acquisition:

1. Grant Writing & Proposal Development
-Lead the creation of high-quality proposals, concept notes, and pitch decks tailored to diverse donor segments.
-Collaborate with Programs, Finance, M&E, and Communications teams to ensure alignment with organizational priorities and impact metrics.
-Manage the end-to-end grant lifecycle, including compliance, documentation, and timely submissions.


2. Corporate & Institutional Partnerships
-Build, nurture, and manage strategic relationships with CSR leaders, foundations, and institutional donors.
-Secure multi-year partnerships through innovative engagement models (employee volunteering, skill-based partnerships, co-branded initiatives).
-Represent the organization at forums, conferences, and partnership events to enhance visibility and funding opportunities.


3. High-Net-Worth Individual (HNI) & Major Donor Engagement
-Design and execute a comprehensive major gifts strategy, targeting HNIs, family offices, and philanthropists.
-Organize bespoke donor engagement activities, such as impact tours, storytelling sessions, and private gatherings.
-Develop tailored strategies for legacy giving, endowment building, and long-term commitments.


4. Donor Reporting, Compliance & Systems
-Ensure timely, accurate, and compelling donor reports with financial updates and impact assessments.
-Collaborate with Finance to ensure fund utilization compliance and transparency.
-Maintain a robust donor database/CRM to track pipeline, donor interactions, segmentation, and reporting deadlines.


5. Strategy, Leadership & Team Development
-Lead and execute the organization’s fundraising strategy to meet annual and long-term financial goals.
-Use data and insights to refine fundraising strategies and ensure sustainability.

The Fundraising Engagement & Acquisition Manager will drive revenue growth by securing grants, building corporate and institutional partnerships, and cultivating high-net-worth donors. The involves creating compelling proposals, managing donor relationships, ensuring compliance and reporting, and leading fundraising strategies to achieve financial goals and long-term sustainability for the organization’s mission.
