Qualification & Experiences

-2-4 years of relevant experience in fundraising, consulting, finance, data analytics, or related fields with external stakeholder interaction
-Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams independently
-Comfort working with data, budgets, and financial tracking systems
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building structure, improving systems, and enabling teams to operate at a high level of effectiveness, while also gaining structured exposure to donor engagement and fundraising.

Responsibilities

1. Systems & Processes:
-Audit and strengthen fundraising systems to ensure quality control and drive excellence
-Liaise with Finance and Program teams to streamline fundraising workflows
-Develop and implement SOPs across fundraising processes (proposals, reporting, donor management)
-Lead implementation and ongoing management of a CRM for donor data and pipeline tracking

2. Finance & Documentation:
-Track and manage fundraising budgets, cash flow projections, and program costing
-Monitor fundraising goals, funded vs. unfunded projects, and support allocation decisions
-Maintain high-quality documentation across proposals, budgets, MOUs, and reports

3. Compliance & Audit:
-Maintain knowledge management systems and trackers in line with CSR/statutory requirements
-Manage donor MOU processing and documentation workflows
-Coordinate programmatic and financial donor audits, ensuring audit readiness

4. Donor Engagement & Reporting Support :
-Coordinate donor engagement activities and touchpoints across the year
-Participate in donor meetings, support follow-ups, and contribute to ongoing communication to build context on donor relationships
-Support preparation of high-quality donor reports (data collation, structuring insights, coordination with program/finance teams)
-Track donor commitments, timelines, and deliverables across active partnerships

5. Research & Pipeline Development:
-Research and pursue new funding opportunities (CSR, HNIs, foundations, innovative finance)
-Maintain and strengthen donor pipeline tracking systems
-Support proposal development with data, insights, and background research

As The Circle enters another phase of rapid expansion, we are focused on strengthening our fundraising capacity and building a strong operational backbone to support scale.

The Manager, Fundraising & Operations will report to the Senior Manager, Fundraising & Operations and will play a pivotal role in ensuring the team operates with excellence across systems, finance, compliance, and reporting. The role will also include structured exposure to donor-facing work, enabling the individual to build context on fundraising and donor engagement.
