Schools For The Future: The Circle Reinventing Schools Starter Program'23: Cohort I

In this session: With Transcend Education's Shari Lawrence, participants will begin designing for the future. Using Transcend’s Ten Leaps frameworks, they’ll engage with the big shifts that schools need to make to stay relevant – and keep kids relevant. In their time alone, participants will begin researching innovative schools that are preparing students for the future.

The Circle's Reinventing Schools Starter program helps educators, designers, entrepreneurs and learning enthusiasts build an understanding India's current context around education inequity, the need for reinventing our schools, the tools and frameworks developed by experts around the world to narrow down the problem, design a solution, prototype an innovation, and pitch to a panel of experts. This is a 5-6 week series of workshops that are accompanied by a ongoing project that will culminate in a contextual, usable solution for each participant - with the potential to win a grant up to 1 lakh INR. The first cohort runs from February 2nd to March 10th. The second runs from March 16 to April 21st.
