does anyone here work with volunteers who come from abroad?
i coordinate volunteers for a small foundation near Chiang Mai, mostly teaching and river cleanup.
problem is not finding them. problem is that half arrive for three weeks and then want to stay six months, and we have no housing for them and no idea what to advise.
if your organisation deals with this, how do you handle the ones who want to stay? we have nothing written down.
one more thing. two of them last year found rooms themselves off https://thailand-real.estate/ and it was cheaper than what we could arrange, which is a little embarrassing for us
